Hey Maxine 1 Your art is beautiful and breath taking!!!! 1 1 lol i seen you commented on The Puppy’s page, and i’m sorry i don’t have any images in my gallery yet, i tried to post a story, but i didn’t understand the steps lol ^_^

As for uploading, it is quite simple, just follow the "quick guide to uploading" from the main page. For Wyvern’s you need at least 2 stories to be published. To make your stories into html, if you are using MS word, just "save as" html, and it will do the coding for you... once you upload to Elfwood, click "Publish Changes" and they will go into the queue to be moderated, if all is ok... et voila! you will be published... give it a try - maXine 1"

Hi there!!! I just want to say that I really love your artwork, you have a wonderful imagination. I always enjoy chatting on pup’s page and it made me happy what you said on there. Elfwood is one of my favorite websites ever!!!! 1 I always thought that you had to kind of keep it a secret that you are a moderator. lol It is very nice to meet you!! ^^

What up maxine? havent talked in a while, well, still liking your gallery... i might never stop likin it. oh well, keep it uuup!

:-) Maxine "piXel" Cox replies: "Hey Trev - right now... cooking dinner, watching Dr Who, working on a new drawing.... posted a new Daemon drawing a couple of days ago "Daemon of white light" quite pleased with that one... will more than likely stay up late once again watching the Olympics... modded about 10 tix today, answered my trainee mod’s questions... kept warm as it was a chilly day and only 6C as a maximum... *sigh* last Sunday I was in Thailand trying to keep cool in 34C heat. Back to work tomorrow (I work part time, at the local vet clinic, about 4 hours per day)... just the usual end to a relaxing weekend... how about you? - maXine 1"

Nice! i wish i could visit Thailand! im not doing much, i had a pretty easy day, trained a new casheer at my work, and she did just fine her first day, im trying to keep cool here in Utah, as it gets to about 108 F every day here the past few weeks. thats about it. i have a huge ticket that im waiting on, but since its not my first ticket anymore, i expect it wont take long... it will make my gallery 5 times its current size! omgsh. thats about all I have to say for myself.

That’s cool!!! 1 I never even knew about the list of Mods. I sometimes wonder which mod does my work. I actually joined elfwood to show everyone my artwork because I love drawing dragons so much. I later met pup and made many wonderful friends who I have never seen before in person. I really enjoy chatting to people on here. ^^ Thanks again!

I have been lucky enough to meet in person 2 fellow artists, and I have introduced my own friends to Elfwood who have joined and published their work... and I am also instrumental in an Elfwood romance (which might actually end up with a wedding!) - maXine 1"

I really love your people. I’ve just recently started drawing realistic people, don’t have many examples on here (most it are just old blechy canines of mine at the moment. xD) If you could give me some advice on how I can improve and stuff, that would be really awesome. Great gallery. 1

:-) Maxine "piXel" Cox replies: "thanx Katie for such a lovely comment - improving drawing takes time and patience, and... practise!! As for drawing people and faces, there are a lot of excellent tutorial books on the market, and even here at EW there are some excellent tips in the FARP section (left hand side tool bar of main page). I think my #1 suggestion can be, especially for drawing "figures" is to start with the body/torso area, then the legs, then the arms...and definitely last the head. Make use of reference material as a reference (rather than trying to reproduce)..... don’t get discouraged - when creating a drawing, draw practise sketches to get the pose and mood right... don’t expect that everything you start will end up as you wish.... what more can I say? Except to enjoy drawing and creating, for the enjoyment that it is - maXine 1 x"
